Job Description
As a CBRE / T&T Construction Project Manager you will be responsible for monitoring individual, multi-disciplined construction projects as well as larger programs consisting of repeatable scopes across multiple locations for clients, with direct accountability for project delivery and with the oversight of a Sr. Project Manager. This includes managing all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout. Individual projects will typically be valued at under $500,000 with full programs being valued at 2,000,000 to 5,000,000.
This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.
This is a remote position with some travel.
What you'll do
Manage all areas of project management for commercial real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
Interface directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project, including the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, quality control, and risk identification.
Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.
Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.
Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values.
Qualifications
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
General knowledge of leases, contracts and construction practices and the ability to read architectural drawings. Financial forecasting and reporting experience are beneficial.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Smartsheet experience is beneficial.
Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information with a willingness to take a new point of view on existing solutions.
Interpersonal skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
