About the Organization

Griffin and Associates is a leading private outpatient mental health practice located in Tacoma, Washington. Our mission is to deliver high-quality mental health care to adults, children, and families. We focus on creating the least restrictive environment for our clients to facilitate healing and growth. The emphasis on a healthy work-life balance helps maintain a sustainable and productive environment for both clients and clinicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain an active caseload of clients, building rapport and fostering trust while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.
  • Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess their progress, discuss challenges, and plan for future appointments or discharge when appropriate.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor person-centered treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each client.
  • Document all client interactions, progress notes, and assessments diligently to ensure compliance and support effective treatment strategies.
  • Perform comprehensive intake assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and appropriate interventions.
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with other healthcare providers to ensure cohesive care and comprehensive client support.
  • Engage in ongoing supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and therapeutic approaches.

Our client base encompasses a diverse array of individuals, including adults, children, and families, all seeking support for a variety of mental health challenges. As a licensed counselor in our practice, you will have the opportunity to work closely with these patients, providing individualized care tailored to their unique situations and backgrounds. Your role will contribute significantly to fostering their resilience and improving their overall mental health.

Qualifications
  • A masterโ€™s degree in mental health counseling or a related field.
  • Must possess a current, unrestricted, and active license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
  • Minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting.
  • Proficient in technology and comfortable utilizing computer systems for documentation and communication.
  • Experience delivering direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
  • Ability to conduct thorough intake assessments and develop customized treatment plans.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in telehealth service delivery.
  • Specialized training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and documentation best practices.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Benefits include a Fee-for-Service compensation model, guaranteed rates paid in advance of collections, and bonus opportunities. Our employment structure promotes a W2 model, prioritizing work-life balance and job security. Additional benefits include comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance, a 401k retirement plan with company contributions, malpractice insurance, and access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). We also provide opportunities for professional development, including free Continuing Education Units (CEUs) on various mental health topics.
