Commercial Planning & Operations Manager, Americas

Chicago Area Preferred (Hybrid) | Remote Considered for the Right Candidate

At Sonova Consumer Hearing, we are seeking a Commercial Planning & Operations Manager, Americas to drive commercial planning excellence, operational execution, and regional profitability across the Americas business. This highly visible role serves as a strategic business partner and right-hand support to the VP Americas, helping shape forecasting, pricing, operational performance, and scalable business growth across the region.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Lead the regional SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process, partnering with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to improve forecasting accuracy and business alignment
  • Develop and execute demand forecasts to support revenue growth, inventory optimization, customer service performance, and product launch readiness
  • Drive commercial analytics and profitability initiatives, including pricing strategy, gross-to-net analysis, promotional effectiveness, trade spend evaluation, and customer/channel profitability assessments
  • Analyze market trends, pricing elasticity, and competitive dynamics to provide recommendations that support profitable growth and strategic decision-making
  • Partner closely with Customer Service, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Sales Operations teams to improve order management, outbound execution, inventory allocation, retailer compliance, and fulfillment performance
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve operational efficiency, including EDI enhancements, reporting simplification, process automation, and workflow standardization
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, reporting cadence, and operational governance processes to improve visibility, accountability, and execution consistency across the business
  • Support new product launches and SKU lifecycle management, including inventory planning, demand ramp-up, monthly phasing, and end-of-life transitions
  • Prepare and present business performance updates, highlighting revenue drivers, operational risks, inventory exposure, and margin opportunities to senior leadership
  • Partner with the VP Americas and regional leadership team on strategic planning, financial modeling, growth initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
What You Bring
  • 7+ years of experience in demand planning, commercial analytics, sales operations, revenue management, or related functions within consumer goods, retail, or eCommerce
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience in forecasting, pricing strategy, gross-to-net management, and profitability optimization
  • Experience leading or influencing cross-functional initiatives across sales, finance, operations, customer service, marketing, and supply chain
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights
  • Experience with ERP systems and BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAP IBP, Demantra, Anaplan, or similar preferred
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions and leadership levels

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova

This role\'s pay range is between: $97K to $120K ย . This role is also commission eligible/bonus eligible.
