Location: Arlington, VA / Washington, DC area, including NGB, TARC, Pentagon, ANGRC, Joint Base Andrews, and authorized telework locations

Work Arrangement: On-site/hybrid as authorized; remote work is not permitted
Clearance: Secret required; Top Secret preferred

Position Summary

LAUKOA is seeking an Editor / Executive Support Specialist to support ANG Executive Secretariat/SACO correspondence quality, executive communications, research, proofreading, writing, factchecking, document preparation, and staff action support.

Responsibilities

  • Review ANG correspondence and staff action products for grammar, clarity, format, consistency, and executive readability.

  • Support writing, editing, proofreading, research, indexing, copywriting, and factchecking.

  • Assist with responses that capture and articulate leadership decisions.

  • Support quality control and oversight of prepared and coordinated ANG responses.

  • Coordinate edits with Action Officers, Workflow Managers, and Government leads.

  • Support document routing, packaging, repository updates, and archive functions.

  • Prepare or update charts, briefing materials, templates, and training documents.

  • Support workflow manager meetings and Action Officer training materials.

  • Maintain confidentiality due to the sensitivity of information processed.

  • Protect controlled, sensitive, and classified information.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in English, Communications, Journalism, Political Science, Public Policy, History, Education, or related field.

  • Three to five years of relevant experience in editing, writing, research, executive support, staff action support, or correspondence control.

  • Strong proofreading, formatting, research, and Microsoft Office skills.

  • Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain CAC and Government system access.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ANG, Air Force, NGB, or DoD correspondence.

  • Experience supporting senior military or civilian leaders.

  • Experience with SharePoint, Teams, ETMS2, or electronic tasking environments.

Salary: $80,000 - $85,000
