• Conduct detailed assessments and facilitate the development of customized treatment plans for clients, including crisis intervention and behavioral guidelines.
• Ensure timely completion of necessary documentation to meet compliance standards, maintaining meticulous records of client interactions and treatment outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools in collaboration with the clinical team to assess client needs effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to individual needs.
• Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the clinic's high standards of care.
• Serve as a liaison with various service systems, state agencies, and community partners to enhance service delivery.
• Maintain open lines of communication with colleagues and stakeholders to promote the mission and objectives of Brightside within the community.
• Forge partnerships with local organizations to expand our outreach and support network, helping to identify potential funding sources and collaborative opportunities.
• Pursue ongoing professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and training relevant to mental health counseling.
• Promote the agency's mission, values, and principles consistently in all interactions and interventions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to the smooth operation of services.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Brightside, you will engage with a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with mental health issues, those in recovery from substance use disorders, and clients with developmental disabilities or brain injuries. • A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is mandatory.
• Possession of an independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license is required.
