Job Summary
The Product Owner is a senior individual contributor responsible for the strategy, lifecycle, roadmap, performance, and business value of assigned enterprise applications, including Salesforce and Sirion Labs. Reporting to the Director of IT, this role serves as the primary point of accountability for ensuring assigned platforms are stable, secure, well-supported, scalable, and aligned with business priorities.
Working with business leaders, IT teams, end users, and external partners, the Product Owner translates complex business needs into clear product outcomes and prioritized technology initiatives. The role independently evaluates opportunities, develops multi-year roadmaps and business cases, governs application enhancements and vendors, and leads complex, cross-functional projects from discovery through implementation and adoption.
Success requires strong business judgment, technical fluency, and the ability to lead through influence across multiple functions. The Product Owner will balance strategic priorities with operational needs, make informed recommendations, and ensure technology investments deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, risk, user experience, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, lifecycle, performance, and business value of assigned enterprise applications, including Salesforce (CRM) and Sirion Labs (CLM).
  • Establish product priorities and success measures in partnership with business and IT leaders, balancing strategic objectives, operational requirements, technical dependencies, risks, and available resources.
  • Serve as the senior liaison among business stakeholders, technical teams, end users, and vendors, translating complex business needs into clear requirements, product outcomes, and actionable delivery plans.
  • Develop and maintain multi-year product roadmaps, enhancement backlogs, release priorities, and investment recommendations that support current operations and future digital transformation.
  • Lead discovery, process analysis, solution evaluation, implementation planning, testing, deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement for new capabilities and system enhancements.
  • Develop business cases and executive-level recommendations that evaluate costs, benefits, risks, alternatives, and expected return on technology investments.
  • Lead multiple medium-to-large, cross-functional initiatives concurrently, managing scope, schedule, budget, dependencies, risks, decisions, and expected business outcomes.
  • Provide governance and oversight for third-party vendors and delivery partners, including service performance, contractual commitments, issue resolution, costs, and delivery quality.
  • Monitor product health, user experience, adoption, service levels, and business outcomes; identify root causes and implement improvements that strengthen reliability, efficiency, scalability, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Establish appropriate product documentation, governance practices, controls, and decision-making forums in alignment with IT standards, cybersecurity requirements, data governance, and applicable business policies.
  • Influence stakeholders across functions and organizational levels, resolve competing priorities, and communicate complex technical and business considerations clearly to executive and non-technical audiences.
  • Remain current on relevant technologies and industry practices, proactively identifying opportunities to simplify processes, reduce costs, manage risk, and improve business performance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Typically 7 or more years of progressive experience in product ownership, business systems analysis, enterprise application management, technology project delivery, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience independently owning enterprise application or digital product strategy, roadmaps, lifecycles, and business value.
  • Strong ability to translate complex business needs into requirements, priorities, solution options, and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience leading medium-to-large technology initiatives, developing business cases, and presenting investment recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Experience managing software vendors, service providers, or external delivery partners.
  • Experience with Salesforce (CRM), Sirion Labs (CLM), or comparable platforms is strongly preferred; familiarity with Databricks, Power BI, or system integrations is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Agile practices, systems development lifecycles, process analysis, testing, change management, and technology governance; relevant certification is an asset.
  • Excellent judgment, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently, lead through influence, and manage ambiguity.
