Job description

The Role

As a Product Operations Manager, you will drive efficiency, coordination, and clarity across the Product Engineering and Design organization. This role supports cross-functional alignment, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.

You will supervise 1 to 2 team members, manage our internal product knowledge base, and play a key role in enabling Product Analytics, helping teams access and apply insights by supporting reporting, tooling, and adoption of key metrics.

Your focus will be on making product work smoother, smarter, and more scalable by building the systems, tools, and processes that help teams deliver their best work.

Role Specifics

  • Work Location: Remote (US)
  • Travel: 10% (The percentage of travel is an estimation, and could vary based on business needs.)
  • Reporting Structure: This role reports to the Senior Director, Product.

What You'll Do

  • Process Enablement: Support improvements in how product and design work is planned, tracked, and delivered. Help identify and operationalize new or refined workflows to reduce friction and improve visibility.
  • Project Coordination: Track and coordinate execution of product-related initiatives and pilots, helping ensure timelines and scope are clearly defined and dependencies are managed effectively.
  • Reporting & Insights: Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Designers and Analysts to compile dashboards and reports on key metrics. Help organize data and insights that can inform decision-making.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product priorities are clearly communicated and well-understood across stakeholders, with attention to change management needs.
  • Tool & Resource Support: Help manage tooling, templates, and practices that support efficient product operations, including documentation, process guides, and internal communication.
  • Risk & Dependency Management: Identify and escalate risks, blockers, and cross-team dependencies, collaborating with others to resolve them proactively.
  • Stakeholder Updates: Assist in preparing updates, roadmap views, and communications for stakeholders - internal and external.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in product operations, program management, or related roles in a SaaS or B2B software environment.
  • 1+ years of people leadership or mentorship experience, with demonstrated ability to support, mentor, and manage direct reports.
  • Proven track record supporting the delivery of cross-functional initiatives or product workflows with measurable operational impact.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to track key metrics, synthesize data, and surface actionable insights.
  • Skilled in stakeholder coordination and internal communications across product, engineering, and commercial teams.
  • Highly organized and outcome-oriented, with a focus on clarity, consistency, and execution efficiency.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic environments, adapting to shifting priorities and supporting decision-making under ambiguity.
  • Proficient with modern product and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Monday, Miro, Asana, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting SaaS platforms that manage complex workflows, especially in industries such as higher education, student housing, or enterprise operations.
  • Experience using Pendo or similar product analytics tools to track user engagement, analyze feature adoption, and support data-informed product decisions.
  • Familiarity with the operational needs of B2B SaaS businesses that blend product-led and sales-led growth strategies.
  • Exposure to customer lifecycle programs-onboarding, enablement, support, and upsell-and the processes that support them.
  • Passion for enabling products that improve community experiences, resident engagement, or event and facilities management.
  • Prior involvement in managing user research operations, gathering voice-of-customer inputs, or supporting product feedback forums.
  • Experience coordinating across multi-regional or global product teams, with an eye toward process consistency, scalability, and compliance.

Even if you don't have all of the Preferred Qualifications listed above, but feel you have what it takes to succeed in the role, we would love to hear from you!

We are proud of our diverse workforce and are dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all employees. People from various ethnicities, ages, genders, and abilities are encouraged to apply.
