Job description

The Opportunity:

The Senior Commercialization Manager will perform similar duties as the Commercialization Manager yet be responsible for special initiatives and projects. The role will manage enterprise-wide initiatives, serving as a project manager to help deliver and accomplish organizational goals.

The role will oversee the management, coordination and execution of all aspects of ongoing product commercialization efforts. This role leads commercialization โ€œgo-to-marketโ€ team(s) and plans, organizes and controls all commercialization activities. The role develops and oversees multiple product plans and implementation schedules, directing and tracking resources and combined tasks to ensure successful delivery of products and ability to onboarding & implement new products & solutions. The Commercialization Manager works cross functionally across all teams within the organization, external vendors and Clients. ย 

Day In The Life:

  • Support other Commercialization Managers, including onboarding support and ongoing process improvement.

  • Lead Communities of Practice, ensuring consistency in delivery and team deliverables.

  • Lead various initiatives and special projects that require additional collaboration with vendors, clients and/or senior leadership.

  • Train and teach the principles of Commercialization to other business units.

  • Oversees all communication to stakeholder indicating status and risks to ensure stakeholders are ready to sell, implement and support the solution.

  • Oversees the development, coordination, planning and implementation of new processes and procedures to create efficiencies, provide transparency and deliver consistent product methodology.

  • Lead project governance processes and ensure stakeholder alignment.

  • Develop and manage project timelines, success criteria and maintain project documentation.

  • Deliver leadership reporting and communication of project status, issues, risks, milestones, and key decisions made regarding project objectives and direction.

  • Facilitate the delivery of services among different product activities to increase effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Continuous improvement of the process, driving the development, documentation, and implementation.

  • Escalate risks, issues and dependencies and drive to resolution.

  • Identify, evaluate, and resolve issues and work cross functionally to problem solve timely.

  • Cross functional collaboration, managing and holding team members accountable for delivering tasks on time.

  • Ensure commercialization activities operation within policies and procedures of the organization.

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in related field and/or minimum eight years of product/project management and/or Client experience

  • Project Management Certification or related training/certification preferred (CX or Lean Six Sigma)

Qualifications:

  • Seven (7) plus years project management experience, or equivalent required.

  • Certified Project Manager, or equivalent.

  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and managing multiple projects at one time.

  • Thorough knowledge of the financial services industry and related products and processes required.

For California, Colorado and New York Applicants: ย In accordance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is between:

$95,800.00 - $124,500.00

Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
