About the Role

As a Commercial Insurance Producer, you will serve as a trusted advisor to small and mid-sized business owners by identifying risks, educating clients, and designing customized commercial insurance solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Insurance Producer or a top-performing Property & Casualty Producer looking to transition into commercial insurance with comprehensive training and mentorship.

You'll work remotely while leveraging company-provided lead sources, multiple carrier relationships, and ongoing coaching to build and manage a successful book of business. Your success will be rewarded through a competitive base salary and uncapped commission on both new business and renewals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with small and mid-sized business clients.
  • Consult with business owners to identify risks and recommend appropriate commercial insurance solutions.
  • Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline using company-provided qualified leads and self-generated opportunities.
  • Present insurance solutions from multiple commercial insurance carriers and markets.
  • Educate clients on policy options, coverage recommendations, and risk management strategies.
  • Manage the complete sales process from prospecting through policy binding and ongoing account servicing.
  • Maintain accurate client information and sales activities within the agency's CRM and Agency Management System (AMS).
  • Learn and effectively utilize multiple commercial insurance carrier rating platforms and underwriting guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal operations and service teams to ensure an exceptional client experience.
  • Participate in ongoing coaching, training, and professional development programs to continually improve sales performance.
Requirements
  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License in good standing.
  • Commercial insurance sales experience preferred; exceptional Property & Casualty Producers seeking to transition into commercial insurance are encouraged to apply.
  • Proven track record of successful insurance sales performance.
  • Experience managing sales pipelines and developing long-term client relationships.
  • Ability to learn and effectively utilize multiple commercial insurance carriers and rating platforms.
  • Experience using CRM and Agency Management Systems (AMS).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong consultative selling, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
