Job description

Position Overview

Pro Mental Balance Advocate, Inc. is looking for a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our mental health team in providing critical services to individuals in a remote detox center setting. In this full-time role, you will leverage your expertise to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions that support the mental health and emotional well-being of our clients during their recovery journey.

About the Organization

At Pro Mental Balance Advocate, Inc., we are committed to transforming the landscape of mental health and substance use recovery. With a focus on holistic, patient-centered care, our organization prides itself on offering comprehensive services tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals seeking recovery. Our remote detox facility allows for flexible treatment options, ensuring that clients receive the support they need in a comfortable and therapeutic environment.

Work Environment

This position is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while still being an integral part of a robust, supportive team of healthcare professionals. You'll connect with colleagues regularly through virtual meetings and collaborative tools, facilitating a cohesive working environment that prioritizes positive patient outcomes. Our team employs advanced telehealth technology to provide effective therapy and client engagement, ensuring that every client has access to mental health care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments of clients entering the detox program, including detailed personal history, current concerns, and risk factor analysis.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting treatment goals that address their specific mental health needs and facilitate their recovery.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed therapy, to treat a variety of mental health issues associated with substance use.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, promoting personal development, emotional regulation, and the adoption of effective coping strategies tailored to clients' unique circumstances.
  • Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to provide seamless care that addresses both mental health and addiction challenges.
  • Respond to client crises with appropriate interventions and support, maintaining a calm and supportive presence during high-stress situations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients facing substance use disorders, along with co-occurring mental health issues. You're expected to understand the complexities and nuances of recovery, demonstrating sensitivity to each client's unique background and individual circumstances. You will engage with a diverse population, making it essential to build rapport and trust with clients to facilitate an effective therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Florida.
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, preferably in a mental health or substance use treatment setting.
  • Strong understanding of mental health disorders, trauma-informed care principles, and evidence-based interventions.
  • Expertise in conducting mental health assessments and creating effective treatment plans.
  • Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy through various therapeutic modalities.
  • Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working with clientele in a detox or inpatient setting is highly desired.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will benefit from a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance. Our retirement savings plan features employer-matching contributions, ensuring your future is secured.

Employees enjoy generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay, professional liability insurance coverage, and support for continuing education and professional development. This role presents opportunities for career advancement within our organization, allowing you to grow and specialize as our mental health system evolves.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Pro Mental Balance Advocate, Inc., we are committed to supporting the professional growth of our employees. As part of our mental health team, you will have ample opportunities to develop your skills through continuing education and specialized training programs.
