Work Environment

This position enables you to work remotely, providing flexibility while remaining engaged with a close-knit team of mental health professionals. The working hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with the possibility of evening hours as needed based on client appointments. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your daily tasks will encompass the following responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate mental health and substance use concerns, ensuring accurate identification of co-occurring disorders.
• Collaborating with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that effectively address both their mental health and substance use needs, utilizing evidence-based interventions.
• Delivering both individual and group therapy, employing techniques that foster coping skills, emotional regulation, and relapse prevention strategies.
• Coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists, registered nurses, and addiction specialists, to provide integrated and holistic treatment plans.
• Conducting regular monitoring of substance use through motivational interviewing techniques to encourage clients on their recovery journey.
• Educating clients and their families about the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of compliance with treatment.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of treatment progress, interventions, and referrals per ethical and legal guidelines.
• Participating in case conferences, staff meetings, and training initiatives to continuously enhance your understanding of co-occurring disorder treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will support include individuals with co-occurring mental health issues alongside substance use disorders. Many clients might be navigating challenging life circumstances and require tailored approaches that address both aspects to ensure sustained recovery. Your expertise in dual diagnosis frameworks will play a significant role in fostering resilience and hope in our clients.

Qualifications

To be considered for this vital role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities appropriate for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Strong understanding of the correlation between mental health and substance use disorders, along with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with extensive backgrounds in integrated care, trauma-informed practices, or specific experience with dual diagnosis populations will be strongly favored.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 75,000 – 100,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, including:
