As a critical member of our organization, you will provide essential therapeutic services aimed at fostering recovery and holistic well-being in our clients.

About the Organization

Located in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois, Innovative Medical Solutions Inc. specializes in delivering comprehensive mental health care through a telehealth model. Our co-occurring disorder treatment programs are designed to provide integrated care, combining mental health and substance use services to address the complex needs of our patients. We pride ourselves on creating a dynamic and supportive environment that enables our therapists to thrive while effectively serving our patient population.

Work Environment

This remote position allows for flexible work hours with an emphasis on work-life balance. You will primarily collaborate with our interdisciplinary team via telehealth platforms, ensuring that you remain connected and supported while working from home. Our standard operating hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with some evening hours required on a rotating schedule to accommodate client appointments. This adaptability in scheduling contributes to a client-centered approach and enhances our service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use concerns, identifying co-occurring disorders to inform treatment strategies.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, incorporating evidence-based therapies tailored to their specific needs.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients cultivate coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and emotional regulation techniques.
  • Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to ensure a seamless integration of services.
  • Implement regular substance use monitoring and employ motivational interviewing techniques to bolster client engagement and support recovery journeys.
  • Educate clients and their families on the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of treatment adherence.
  • Document treatment progress, interventions, and referrals accurately, adhering to ethical and legal guidelines.
  • Engage actively in case conferences, staff meetings, and professional development training to enhance treatment methodologies related to co-occurring disorders.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily support individuals facing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. This population often experiences complex challenges that require a nuanced understanding of both mental health issues and addiction. By providing integrated care, you will contribute to breaking the cycle of these disorders, guiding clients towards sustainable recovery and improved overall health.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies for treating co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the interplay between mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration within an interdisciplinary care team.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience working with clients facing co-occurring disorders.
  • Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for delivering therapy sessions and client assessments.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, complemented by performance-based bonuses. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a retirement savings plan with employer matching, and generous paid time off (PTO) alongside recognized holidays.
