Common industries that require remote printing services include publishing, marketing, and corporate offices with distributed teams.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Remote Printing position, and why are they important?

To excel in a Remote Printing role, you need expertise in managing networked printers, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and understanding digital file formats and workflows, often backed by experience in IT support or printing technology. Familiarity with remote printing management software, cloud-based print services, and possibly certifications like CompTIA A+ or vendor-specific credentials is valuable. Regional Sales Manager - Software (Remote)

Durst Image Technology US

Job description

Remote | Near Major Airport Preferred
At Durst Image Technology US LLC, performance matters. Our customers run high-output production environments where downtime, inefficiency, or workflow gaps directly impact profitability. That reality shapes how we design equipment, build software, and go to market.
We are adding a Regional Sales Manager - Software to our North American team. This is a growth role focused on expanding our software footprint across the U.S. and Canada.
Durst is known globally for industrial digital UV inkjet printing systems built for reliability and precision. Our software solutions are just as critical. They drive growth, automation, integration, data visibility, and measurable gains in throughput and margin. This role is about leading those conversations.
We are not looking for someone who treats software as an afterthought. We are looking for someone who understands the end-to-end production workflow and can sell a strategy.
The Opportunity
Wide-format and industrial print providers are navigating real operational pressure:
  • Labor constraints
  • Margin compression
  • SKU complexity
  • Compressed turnaround expectations
  • Increased demand for automation
Our software portfolio addresses production bottlenecks, workflow integration, color management, and overall equipment effectiveness. The right person will walk into a production facility, assess upstream and downstream workflows, and position software as a financial lever-not a feature set.
What You Will Be Responsible For
This is a quota-carrying position with defined revenue expectations. You will be responsible for driving software growth across your territory, including:
  • Developing and executing a disciplined territory strategy
  • Generating new standalone software opportunities
  • Expanding existing Durst hardware accounts with our solutions
  • Conducting consultative discoveries inside production environments
  • Demonstrating software in the context of real operational challenges
  • Managing pipeline and forecasting with accuracy and accountability
  • Negotiating contracts and closing complex deals
  • Providing structured market feedback to influence future development
This role requires independence, organization, and commercial maturity.
The Profile That Performs Well Here
Successful candidates typically bring:
  • 5+ years of B2B software sales experience within digital printing, RIP, MIS, workflow automation, or related production environments
  • Experience selling into print service providers, packaging operations, converters, or industrial production facilities
  • A consistent record of meeting or exceeding quota
  • Comfort engaging operations leaders, production managers, and executive ownership
  • The ability to connect technical capability to operational and financial outcomes
  • Strong presentation and live demonstration skills
  • Territory discipline and the ability to operate effectively in a remote structure
  • English proficiency is required
  • The ability to travel in the U.S. and Canada is required.

Why This Role Matters
Software is a strategic growth priority for Durst in North America. This is an opportunity to help production businesses operate more efficiently, drive revenue, and increase customer engagement.
If you understand the economics of print production, the realities of workflow, and how to sell value in that environment, we will welcome the conversation.
