Candidates should demonstrate direct experience applying EDI/X12 technologies within healthcare claims, financial processing, Federal Government, or similarly regulated enterprise environments.Position OverviewFathom Management is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with recent Hands-On Architecture to support a Department of Veterans Affairs project focused on enterprise architecture, financial systems, healthcare claims processing, enterprise integration, cloud modernization, and legacy system transformation.The successful candidate will bring approximately 15 years of overall IT/technology experience, including 3–5 years of hands-on Enterprise Architecture experience, with current technical skills in developing cloud architecture diagrams, legacy architecture diagrams, infrastructure specifications, integration models, and detailed enterprise architecture deliverables.This is not a purely governance, advisory, or executive-level architecture position. The successful candidate must remain technically hands-on and capable of personally developing architecture artifacts, evaluating technical alternatives, documenting infrastructure and integration designs, and working directly with engineers and technical teams.Candidates should have demonstrated experience in financial processing and healthcare claims environments, preferably within Federal Government environments, and should understand the architecture and integration requirements associated with X12, HL7, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, iFAMS, and enterprise financial/healthcare
