Job description

At Hudson Prince Engineering and Inspection, PLLC, we offer civil engineering consultant services in Oklahoma, Texas, and Colorado for both pre-construction and construction phases. We exist to help meet the needs that the civil engineering community has and are dedicated to offering creative solutions to the most difficult challenges. Hudson Prince is seeking a Transportation Project Manager to join our growing design team.

Transportation Project Manager

Location: Oklahoma/Remote

Responsibilities will include:

  • Plan Production oversight including working with and managing Project Engineers and Design Technicians in the design of a variety of transportation projects including State Highways, City Streets, County and Tribal roadways
  • Primary design components include roadway geometrics, typical sections, cross sections, erosion control, drainage design record/map, traffic control and signing and striping
  • Duties will also involve tasks associated with producing a set of construction documents including drafting, quantity computations, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Project & task scheduling for design team
  • Preparing cost estimates
  • Client interaction
  • Quality Review

Additional Duties may include:

· Meetings with clients

· Proposal development and coordination

Requirements

  • Attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Oklahoma
  • 5-10 years of related experience
  • Must have previous experience with ODOT
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Familiarity with AASHTO's highway and traffic publications
  • Familiarity with the MUTCD
  • Experience with OTA and county design projects
