The Opportunity

We're looking for a relationship-driven Veterinary Recruiter to help identify, engage, and hire exceptional veterinarians across our growing network.

In this role, you'll own full-cycle recruitment for doctor positions, build long-term relationships with veterinary students, interns, residents, and experienced clinicians, and partner closely with hospital leadership to identify hiring needs and develop strategic recruiting plans.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, building talent pipelines, and helping doctors find the right long-term career home.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for veterinarian positions across multiple hospitals and specialties
  • Build and maintain active and passive candidate pipelines through networking, referrals, conferences, veterinary schools, residency programs, and professional organizations
  • Partner with hospital and regional leadership to understand hiring priorities and develop recruiting strategies
  • Source, screen, interview, and coordinate candidates through the hiring process
  • Represent COVE Animal Health at veterinary conferences, career fairs, and university recruiting events
  • Manage job postings and maintain accurate candidate data within our applicant tracking system
  • Prepare offer letters and coordinate pre-employment and onboarding activities
  • Deliver a thoughtful, responsive, and high-touch candidate experience throughout the recruiting process
  • Track recruiting metrics and provide regular hiring updates to leadership
  • Help strengthen COVE's employer brand through recruiting initiatives and social media engagement

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 1–3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience preferred
  • Healthcare or veterinary recruiting experience is a plus, but not required
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for conferences, recruiting events, and hospital visits
