Job Title: Power Platform / Copilot Governance Lead
Clearance Required: Public Trust – Federal Client requires US Citizenship
Work Location: Remote, Arlington, VA Alpha Omega is seeking a proactive Governance Lead to join our team. The candidate will define, configure, manage, and optimize governance and compliance of Microsoft 365 Copilot. This includes implementing integration of Copilot governance and compliance with existing Microsoft Power Platform governance and compliance at the FDIC. Federal Client requires US citizenship. Key Responsibilities: * Define, document, and implement governance of Copilot. * Define, document, and implement compliance (and compliance enforcement) of Copilot agents. * Define, document, and implement governance of custom Copilot development via Copilot Studio. * Lead governance working sessions with key stakeholders in order to define Copilot governance and compliance. * Define, document, and implement compliance (and compliance enforcement) of custom Copilot development via Copilot Studio. * Provide guidance and training for Copilot use to end users. * Provide guidance and training for custom Copilot Studio development for citizen developers. * Author / Maintain MPP Governance document(s) and other MPP documentation (e.g. SOPs, presentations). * Work with CoP members / MPP platform team to ensure adherence to MPP Governance plan. * Answer questions related to standards / guidelines on Power Platform and Copilot development. * Provide recommendations and develop material around training developers and users related to the use of the Platform. * Conduct ad-hoc training as needed. * Required Qualifications: Education: * BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar degree. Experience/Skills: * Federal Client requires US citizenship. * Greater than 5 years of specific administration support experience. * Proficient understanding of Microsoft 365 services and general IT practices. * Experience with admin tools in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Purview, Copilot Control System, and Power Platform. * Familiarity with AI governance, data privacy, and compliance standards. * Knowledge of MPP platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Automate Desktop and Copilot). * Excellent communication (both written and verbal) with strong customer-facing experience. * Well organized, proficient in Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Platform App Development. * Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Certifications * PL-900 (Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals) – Required to start Salary and Benefit Information: The likely salary range for this position is $126,000 - $170,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
