Position Description
The Power Platform developer will be a member of an Agile development team supporting the design, development, implementation, and enhancement of custom applications using Dynamics 365 and Power Apps Model Driven frameworks. Responsibilities include the following:
  • Support grooming of user stories and authoring design artifacts.
  • Perform as a developer for the delivery of Dynamics 365 / Model-driven Power Apps configuration, custom development, development of Azure cloud services, and development of integrations with external systems
  • Perform design and development of full-lifecycle development efforts which are based on Microsoft Power Platform and supporting Azure Cloud services
  • Participate in peer reviews to ensure that customization code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate design patterns are being followed.

The projected compensation range for this position is $130K - $150K annualized (USD). The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal pay equity, location, contract-specific affordability and other organizational requirements.
Required Skills
  • At least 8 years of total IT experience performing complex application development projects on the Microsoft stack working closely with cross-functional Team Members in Agile Development environment.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on development experience with Dynamics 365 / and/or Model-driven Power Apps
  • Experience developing customizations using .NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
  • In-depth hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics platform, the entity model, and security model.
  • In-depth hands-on knowledge of Canvas and Model Driven applications, PCF controls, and Dataverse.
  • Hands-on experience architecting solutions that involve Dynamics customization to include server-side code, custom business logic, integration modules, workflow assemblies and plug-ins.
  • Excellent client-facing written and oral communications skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile with Scrum environment.

Desirable Skills
  • Project experience on large development efforts for the Federal Government
  • Experience utilizing Azure Services to support Power Platform solutions (e.g., Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Data Factory)
  • Exposure to SharePoint Online configuration and light development
  • Microsoft certifications
