• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations, documenting client histories and developing tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
• Facilitate therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
• Continuously monitor and document client progress along treatment plans, adjusting interventions proactively as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical staff, to coordinate holistic care approaches for clients with complex needs.
• Manage referrals effectively, connecting clients with additional resources in the community when necessary.
• Educate family members and primary caregivers on mental health challenges, equipping them with strategies to support their loved ones throughout the recovery process.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in psychotherapy practices and integrate evidence-based approaches into your work.

In this role, you will engage with a varied clientele experiencing diverse mental and emotional health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will be called upon to provide culturally competent care that respects and addresses the unique backgrounds and needs of each client, ensuring an inclusive environment conducive to healing and growth.

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Colorado.
• A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating an ability to convey complex information clearly and compassionately.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a strong capacity for empathy and rapport-building with clients and colleagues.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical mental health counseling setting.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR, for effective documentation and client management.
• Experience working with various psychological and behavioral disorders, including co-occurring conditions and substance abuse.
• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and ethical guidelines.
• An understanding of the pharmacological impacts of medications prescribed by collaborating medical professionals.
