• Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans that address each client’s unique needs, including pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment plans.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools in collaboration with clinical teams to evaluate client progress and adapt treatment strategies accordingly.
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to formulate and implement positive behavior support plans that promote client recovery and independence.
• Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the high standards of our clinic.
• Serve as a liaison to relevant service systems and state agencies to create streamlined coordination of care for clients.
• Establish and maintain open lines of communication with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to align with the mission of MHA and to thrive within the community.
• Build relationships with local, state, federal, and private agencies, seeking partnerships and funding opportunities that enhance our programs.
• Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities, such as attending conferences or participating in relevant committees and task forces.
• Promote and integrate the agency’s mission and values into every aspect of your practice.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the success of the clinic and its clients.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you'll work with a diverse population that may include individuals facing emotional and psychological challenges, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities. Your role is vital in providing tailored support that addresses their unique situations and assists in navigating their paths toward recovery and personal growth. You will encourage clients to engage with available resources, strengthening their connection to the community and other supportive networks.

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• An independent LMHC license is mandatory for this position.

• Experience working in a community health setting or with culturally diverse populations is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in key therapeutic modalities or interventions relevant to mental health counseling.
