Position Overview

As an Account Manager on our Client Services team, you will play a key role in managing political, voter contact, and public affairs/issue advocacy client accounts. You'll be responsible for delivering high-impact communication programs, ensuring client satisfaction, and supporting the strategic goals of our team. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of political/voter contact and public affairs/issue advocacy client accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring consistent communication and satisfaction.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel voter contact and issue advocacy programs.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables with precision.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of services, including:
    • Outbound/inbound calls
    • Digital and text-based outreach
    • Town hall events and conferencing
    • Data enhancement and cloud-based tools
  • Oversee client onboarding, invoicing, and accounts receivable.
  • Draft and manage approval of scripts, messages, and campaign content.
  • Monitor performance metrics (KPIs), troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
  • Prepare and present detailed client reports and strategic recommendations.
  • Support proposal development and contribute to sales and marketing efforts.
  • Provide occasional support to internal teams, including mail production, QA, and help desk.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Background or strong interest in:
    • Politics, public affairs, government relations
    • Survey research, polling, digital or direct marketing
  • 3+ years in account management, project management, or client services preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Self-motivated, action-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
