Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments tailored to the needs of each client.
  • Collaborate closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices and consider cultural backgrounds and personal goals.
  • Utilize therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) across various settings, including individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Provide crisis intervention services and ensure continuity of care by liaising with other healthcare professionals to support clients in acute distress situations.
  • Maintain robust clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, as mandated by clinic policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Empower clients and their families through psychoeducation, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to manage their mental health challenges effectively.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive and holistic patient care.
  • Conduct regular outcome assessments to measure the effectiveness of treatment and adjust therapeutic approaches as needed.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and trends in mental health, integrating new knowledge into clinical practice to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Uphold ethical standards of practice and ensure client confidentiality at all times.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele is diverse and may include individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with patients from various cultural backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health counseling setting.
  • Experience with telehealth delivery methods.
  • Knowledge in trauma-informed care practices and culturally sensitive treatment approaches.
Compensation and Benefits
