Job description

Who We Are

At Rhone, we cultivate a work culture that is empowering and rooted in our core values. We are gritty, approaching challenges with resilience and determination. We are responsible, holding ourselves accountable to each other and the work we do. We strive for excellence, pushing boundaries to deliver our best every day. We remain authentic, embracing honesty, humility, and individuality. And above all, we are team centered, knowing that true success comes from collaboration and shared purpose.

About The Role

Are you a strategic operator who loves turning ambiguity into execution? Rhone is seeking an experienced, dynamic leader to step into the role of Manager, Project Management Office (BizOps). In this role, you will serve as the connective tissue across Rhone’s major cross-functional initiatives ensuring that high-level strategic priorities translate into structured, accountable, and on-time execution. Sitting at the intersection of strategy, operations, and people, you will play a critical role in scaling how work gets done across our organization.

Key areas of impact you will drive include:

  • Finance & BizOps: Leading a comprehensive overhaul of our financial accounting processes to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and industry best practices.

  • Planning Technology: Managing the implementation of end-to-end retail technology solutions to elevate our merchandise planning, assortment planning, and inventory allocation capabilities.

  • Data & Analytics: Overseeing enterprise data management enhancements and enterprise-wide Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools.

What You’ll Do

As our Manager, Project Management Office (BizOps), your day-to-day will be guided by our core framework for operational excellence:

Gritty
  • Own and maintain a centralized portfolio view of active strategic initiatives, providing leadership with real-time visibility into project status, risks, and interdependencies.

  • Develop, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and project milestones for major programs.

  • Proactively escalate blockers and resolve resource constraints before they impact the critical path.

Responsible
  • Establish and maintain clear decision rights across initiatives, clarifying who decides, when decisions are final, and how they are documented.

  • Act as the organizational conscience on decision finality and milestone adherence, preventing default decisions or unnecessary loopbacks.

  • Define and enforce robust project governance standards, PMO templates, and lifecycle frameworks across your scope.

 Excellence
  • Evaluate, implement, and continuously improve project management tracking tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Monday.com).

  • Document and standardize repeatable operational processes to eliminate friction and build institutional knowledge.

  • Partner closely with the Data & Analytics team to ensure project health dashboards are accurate, timely, and actionable.

Authentic
  • Support organizational change management by developing clear communication plans, stakeholder maps, and user-adoption strategies.

  • Create executive-ready updates, status reports, and presentation materials that synthesize complex data into clear, actionable narratives.

  • Cascade strategic direction from leadership to teams, ensuring every contributor understands how their daily work ladders up to company goals.

Team Centered
  • Lead highly cross-functional working sessions and agile stand-ups across go-to-market (GTM), technology, logistics, and retail operations teams.

  • Serve as a trusted strategic partner for functional initiative owners who require PMO coordination support.

  • Shift the organization from hero-driven execution to disciplined, scalable, and repeatable ways of working together.

What Success Looks Like
  • First 100 Days: Immerse yourself in our culture, build relationships across the C-suite and functional teams, and audit the current active projects and toolsets.

  • Establish clear decision governance frameworks for the current Finance and Planning technology overhauls; begin tracking unified KPIs.

  • Fully optimize the cross-functional communication cadence and implement a standardized PMO lifecycle that empowers teams to Compete to Complete.

What You’ll Bring
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in project management, program management, business operations (BizOps), strategy, or corporate transformation.

  • Direct experience in consumer products, retail, apparel, or DTC/e-commerce environments is highly preferred.

  • A proven track record of building operational infrastructure from the ground up in a scaling business; you know how to sequence early wins to build long-term momentum.

  • An alignment with our pursuit of choosing courage over comfort; you are highly comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving alignment across teams you do not directly manage.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with executive-level credibility and influence.

  • Tools & Credentials: Proficiency with agile/waterfall PM tools; a PMP, PgMP, Agile/Scrum, or equivalent certification is a strong plus.

What You’ll Get
  • Competitive compensation

  • Health, dental, vision, and ancillary benefits

  • 401(k) with company incentive savings plan

  • Company holidays and discretionary time off policy

  • Career growth and advancement opportunities at a brand with significant scaling momentum
