About The Role

The Site Planner 2 is primarily responsible for completion of site plans, reviewing title commitments, and supporting the New Home Starts department as needed.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Complete final site plans.
  • Review and approve Title Commitments.
  • Set up preliminary site plans from surveys or plats on AutoCAD.
  • Maintain an understanding of current Perry Homes design standards, code and community guidelines, as they apply to site plans, redraws, and lot fits.
  • Responsible for quality and accuracy of all drawings.
  • From time to time must complete projects on very short notice with extreme time constraints.
  • Review, approve, and correct title commitments as assigned.
  • Assist with redraws, lot fits, and sold home forms as needed.

Requirements

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associateโ€™s degree in Computer Drafting or Design preferred.
  • Requires at least 2 years of experience in basic drafting methods, and an understanding of symbols and techniques of drawing via AutoCAD.
  • Basic knowledge of Architectural Language pertaining to residential construction.
  • Ability to read blueprints, surveys, Metes & Bounds descriptions.
  • Experience in civil drafting preferred.
  • Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • The ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals, to compute percentages, and to perform basic algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
