We're building a new category - AI Roleplays - an experiential learning platform that helps people improve through lifelike simulations powered by generative AI. Think of it as the batting cage before the big game, but for communication. The Role
As Staff Accountant, you will be the execution engine of Yoodli's day-to-day financial operations. Working closely with the Accounting Manager, you will own core transactional accounting responsibilities - from billing and collections to payroll processing and vendor payments. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in accuracy, thrives on building clean processes, and wants to grow with a fast-moving company.
What You'll Do
Revenue, Billing & Collections
  • Manage customer invoicing and ensure billing accuracy based on contracts, usage, or subscription terms.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing based on contracts, usage, or subscription terms.
  • Track receivables and follow up proactively on overdue accounts.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure smooth handoffs.
Accounts Payable & Vendor Management
  • Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and employee reimbursements with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain vendor records and payment schedules.
  • Ensure proper coding and documentation in compliance with company policies.
  • Manage employee reimbursements via Ramp.
General Ledger & Month-End Close
  • Prepare standard journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for month-end and year-end close.
  • Contribute to a timely and accurate close process under the direction of the Accounting Manager.
You Might Be a Fit If You...
  • Have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Have 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or startup environment.
  • Understand core GAAP principles and basic accounting processes.
  • Are proficient with QuickBooks; experience with Ramp is a plus.
  • Are highly organized with strong attention to detail and a bias toward action.
  • Communicate clearly and work comfortably with cross-functional partners.
  • Are excited to roll up your sleeves in a fast-paced, evolving environment and take ownership of your work.
Why Yoodli
  • Competitive salary + meaningful equity ($80,000 - $92,000 range).
  • Full benefits: healthcare, dental, vision, 401k, unlimited PTO.
  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office at our Seattle HQ (lunch included) + 2 days remote.
  • High-impact work with direct influence on a mission-driven company.
  • A humble, driven, deeply collaborative team - and a product you'll use every week.
