Remote Photo information

What are some common challenges faced by remote photo editors, and how can they overcome them?

Remote photo editors often face challenges like maintaining clear communication with clients and team members due to the lack of in-person collaboration. Additionally, managing tight deadlines and high volumes of images can be demanding. To overcome these challenges, it's important to establish reliable communication channels, stay organized with project management tools, and continually update technical skills to handle various editing software efficiently. Building a strong portfolio and seeking feedback also help remote photo editors grow in their careers.

What are remote photo jobs?

Remote photo jobs are photography roles that can be performed from a distance, without needing to be physically present at a traditional studio or office. These jobs may include editing photos, managing digital image libraries, retouching, stock photography, or even remote product photography where products are shipped to the photographer's home studio. Many companies and clients now hire remote photographers and editors to create high-quality visual content for websites, social media, marketing, and e-commerce. This flexibility allows professionals to work from anywhere, often using their own equipment and digital tools.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Photo Editor, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Photo Editor, you need proficiency in photography principles, image editing, and a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills. Familiarity with industry-standard software like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and sometimes certification in digital imaging or graphic design is often required. Attention to detail, creativity, time management, and effective communication are vital soft skills for collaborating with clients and meeting deadlines. These abilities ensure the delivery of high-quality, visually compelling images that meet client expectations in a remote work environment.

POSITIONSUMMARY

The VP, Salesserves as the primary architect of Duncan Solutions' market entry and growth in the photo enforcement and autonomous enforcement sectors. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), this role is responsible for converting Duncan's core support services - DMV Registered Owner Lookup, Image Review, Notice Mailing, Customer Service, and Debt Collection - into durable, multi-year client relationships in a market where Duncan does not yet hold the position it intends to.

This role operates at the intersection of the Duncan Operating Model's Conversations and Outcomes dimensions, ensuring that every pursuit - from early stakeholder engagement through proposal development and contract execution - reflects the discipline, judgment, and price-to-win acumen the company expects of its most senior sales seats. The VP, Sales translates enterprise commercial strategy into shaped opportunities, won contracts, and a pipeline that earns its place on the forecast.

This is not a tactical sales seat measured on activity metrics or short-cycle deal count. It is a strategic market-entry role responsible for the durability and profitability of what gets won - and for building Duncan's standing in a sector that will define a meaningful portion of the company's next decade of growth.
