Remote Pharmacy Technician- Retail (Kearny, AZ)

The retail pharmacies at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center provide a valuable, convenient service to our employees, hospital based patients, patients from our clinics, and members of the public. This position is located at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Centers Kearny Clinic located in Kearny, AZ. This location offers services to the community of Kearny and surrounding areas. The remote dispensing pharmacy advanced technology to enable patient access and convenience.
POSITION SUMMARY This position will work under the supervision of the pharmacist. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients.
Routine Job Functions

  • Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or the equivalent
  • Must have Pharmacy Technician Certification Two-years related pharmacy experience in the retail setting AZ board of Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Licensure
  • Must possess good organizational, problem solving, and computer skills
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with all levels of staff, physicians, patients and other contacts
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
  • Basic computer knowledge and knowledge of automated pharmacy systems
  • Must be motivated
