Epic Application Analyst - Pharmacist (Remote | Direct Hire)

Location: Remote (U.S.-based)
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM with rotating on-call responsibilities
Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Epic Application Analyst - Pharmacist to support, optimize, and maintain Epic pharmacy applications in a production healthcare environment. This role is responsible for system design, build, testing, validation, implementation, and ongoing support of assigned Epic applications while collaborating with clinical, operational, and technical teams.

The ideal candidate will possess strong Epic application expertise, pharmacy knowledge, and the ability to translate clinical workflows into effective system solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, test, validate, and maintain Epic pharmacy applications.

  • Collaborate with department stakeholders to analyze workflows and implement system solutions.

  • Participate in application design, validation, and optimization sessions.

  • Support future-state workflow development and system enhancements.

  • Conduct application testing and document results.

  • Provide end-user support during go-live events and through on-call rotations.

  • Review and test system upgrades and new releases before production deployment.

  • Maintain system documentation and training materials.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and application optimization.

  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, clinicians, leadership, and technical staff.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.

  • Active Epic Beacon Certification.

  • Active Epic Willow Certification.

  • Certifications must be current at the time of submission.

  • Licensed Pharmacist (Doctor of Pharmacy).

  • 2+ years of Epic Analyst experience preferred.

  • Experience supporting Epic applications in a production healthcare environment.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple disciplines.

Additional Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Ability to participate in rotating on-call support.

  • Ability to travel occasionally for Epic training and remote site support as needed.
