• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to establish client treatment plans that address their specific needs.
• Implement a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, tailored to the unique challenges faced by each client.
• Build and maintain trusting therapeutic relationships with clients by employing strong communication and active listening skills, accommodating their emotional concerns sensitively.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure continuity and comprehensiveness of care for clients.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records in alignment with ethical standards and legal regulations, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending relevant workshops and staying current with the latest research and advancements in mental health practices.

As a Licensed Clinical Counselor, you will be equipped to handle complex cases by providing culturally competent care and engaging clients in meaningful therapeutic dialogue.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Maryland, allowing for the practice of clinical counseling.
• A minimum of two years of experience in providing counseling services, emphasizing the ability to adapt therapeutic methods to individual client needs.
• A comprehensive understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations concerning counseling practice.
