As a Permitting Coordinator at Atwell, you will play a key role in driving our land development projects forward by managing the permitting process from start to finish. You will work in a collaborative, fast-moving environment where communication, organization, and problem-solving are highly valued. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships with agencies, digging into details, and keeping projects on schedule.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the permitting process by researching requirements, contacting agencies, and gathering required documentation.
  • Prepare and submit complete and accurate permit applications.
  • Partner with survey, engineering, environmental, and construction teams to secure exhibits and supporting materials.
  • Track application progress through online portals and internal tools while monitoring deadlines and milestones.
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams, external agencies, and clients to ensure alignment.
  • Identify potential roadblocks early and help navigate conditions of approval.

Qualifications:

  • Three to five years of permitting experience preferred
  • Background in land development projects strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel locally when needed, less than ten percent
  • High School Diploma required
