As part of our mission to provide exceptional mental health services, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate care to individuals confronting substance use and mental health challenges. This position offers an annual salary range of $80,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience.

About the Organization

At Unique Behavioral Counseling Center, we are committed to transforming lives through integrated behavioral health services. Located in Tucson, Arizona, our Detox Center specializes in providing a safe environment for individuals undergoing the complexities of detoxification, where they can receive the necessary care and support. Our team is composed of licensed professionals who provide evidence-based treatments designed to foster long-term recovery and emotional wellness.

Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to support clients from the comfort of your own setting while ensuring they receive the treatment they need. Our approach promotes collaborative care; as such, you will connect regularly with fellow team members through virtual meetings, ensuring a cohesive strategy is maintained for each client's treatment plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients' needs, backgrounds, and therapeutic goals, ensuring a comprehensive understanding that will inform treatment.
  • Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy through established methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and other evidence-based approaches tailored to meet various therapeutic needs.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans, regularly reviewing and adjusting them to meet the evolving needs of clients.
  • Engage in collaborative discussions with clients, involving them in the treatment planning process to enhance their commitment to healing.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to relevant ethical guidelines and legal requirements to ensure the safety and trust of clients.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, keeping abreast of the latest best practices and therapeutic modalities in the field of social work.
  • Foster a strong therapeutic alliance with clients, promoting trust, empathy, and a safe space for personal growth and change.
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance, and tangible strategies to help clients effectively manage their challenges and improve their overall well-being.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position will involve working with a diverse clientele who are often navigating the complexities of addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will be tasked with crafting individualized supports that honor their unique experiences and challenges, thereby contributing significantly to their transformative healing journey.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory to practice.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, particularly within the realm of substance use treatment or mental health services.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of interventions are essential.
  • Exceptional communication, empathy, and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building rapport with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in detox or rehabilitation settings is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms is a plus, as the role may utilize technology to reach clients effectively.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging between $80,000 and $104,000 per year, complemented by attractive performance incentives. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance plans covering medical, dental, and vision, as well as retirement savings options with employer contributions. Flexible scheduling is promoted to assure a healthy work-life balance, tailored to meet both client and clinician needs.
