Senior Oracle Cloud HCM Functional Lead, Principal Consultant
(Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence, Core HR & Workforce Scheduling) 
Location: United States (Remote with travel as needed)
Travel Requirement: 10–30% throughout the year
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizenship required

We are seeking a Senior Oracle Cloud HCM Functional Lead with strong expertise across Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence Management, Core HR, and Workforce Scheduling. This role will lead functional workstreams, support solution design, and provide hands-on configuration and troubleshooting support across Oracle Cloud HCM implementations and optimization efforts.
The ideal candidate is a strong techno-functional consultant who can operate as both a client-facing functional lead and a hands-on contributor within the Oracle Cloud HCM platform.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions, design workshops, and solution discussions with business stakeholders
  • Drive fit-gap analysis and recommend scalable Oracle Cloud HCM solutions aligned to business requirements
  • Lead and support implementations across:
    • Payroll
    • Time & Labor
    • Absence Management
    • Core HR
    • Workforce Scheduling
  • Configure and support Oracle Cloud HCM modules, including payroll processing, time calculations, absence plans, scheduling rules, approvals, and workforce management functionality
  • Develop and troubleshoot:
    • Fast Formulas
    • HCM Extracts
    • OTBI and/or BI Publisher reports
    • HDL/HSDL data loads
  • Support integrations and troubleshooting activities across Payroll, Finance, and third-party systems
  • Lead testing activities including SIT, UAT, payroll validation, and issue resolution
  • Support cutover, go-live, and post-production stabilization activities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by providing practical guidance and clear communication throughout project delivery
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to delivery best practices
Required Qualifications
  • Strong experience with Oracle Cloud HCM, including Payroll
  • Deep functional expertise in:
    • Payroll
    • Time & Labor
    • Absence Management
    • Core HR
    • Workforce Scheduling
  • Proven experience leading full lifecycle Oracle Cloud HCM implementations or major workstreams
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Fast Formulas
    • HCM Extracts
    • OTBI and/or BI Publisher
    • HDL/HSDL data loads
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities across configuration, payroll processing, reporting, and integrations
  • Experience leading client-facing workshops and driving solution decisions
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment while managing multiple priorities

  • Exposure to integrations including OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, or file-based interfaces
