• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional health, employing techniques such as engagement and evaluation to ensure a thorough understanding of their needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client assessments, while incorporating their unique goals and challenges into all therapy sessions.
• Provide individual therapy for clients of all ages, delivering targeted interventions aimed at resolving a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
• Facilitate couples therapy, employing conflict resolution strategies and communication enhancement techniques to help partners build stronger, healthier relationships.
• Regularly review and modify treatment plans according to client progress, maintaining an adaptive approach to therapy that meets clients’ evolving needs.
• Document all client interactions meticulously, ensuring timely and compliant record-keeping in line with regulatory standards.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, connecting with other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to client care.
• Respond effectively to crisis situations, providing immediate support to clients in acute distress.
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay informed about the latest research and best practices within the marriage and family therapy discipline.

Your primary focus will be on individuals, couples, and families navigating complex emotional landscapes. You will work closely with a diverse client base that includes adolescents seeking guidance through transitional phases, adults dealing with relationship or personal challenges, and couples striving to enhance their relational dynamics. Allina Healthcare emphasizes the importance of personalized care, ensuring that each treatment plan reflects the specific cultural and contextual needs of clients.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Massachusetts is a prerequisite for this position.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and/or couples therapy.
• Effective communication and writing skills, coupled with proficiency in electronic health record systems.

• Experience working with both child and adult populations is preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and innovative approaches in therapy delivery.
• A track record of successfully meeting documentation standards and collaborating with healthcare teams would be advantageous.
