Job Title: Billing Specialist I

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 5+ Months (possible extension)

Pay rate: $20.00/hr on W2

Job Requirements:

Candidates can sit in any time zone.

Develops and maintains foundational knowledge of billing systems, processes an procedures as it relates to customer portal uploading.

Supports the execution of standard billing tasks relating to customer portal uploads such as:

  • Transferring data from Karmak to online customer portal.
  • Connecting job types in Karmak to the correct customer portal option.
  • Accurately matching labor hours and parts pricing and tax in the customer portal.
  • Updating preapproved estimates with additional work completed in the customer portal.
  • Following customer-specific billing requirements for uploading.
  • Verifying the accuracy of data transfers between systems
  • Investigating data entry errors that may impact revenue recognition
  • Develops understanding of the upload role in the billing process and how it affects other groups.
  • Prepares and compiles data for internal reporting and management review.
  • Provides support for special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required experience& specialized knowledge and skills:

  • High School Diploma with at least 2 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the automotive industry or fleet management is a plus.
  • Prior experience working in multiple computer programs at once is required.
  • Ability to work in a high-performance, fast-paced team environment.
