Unified Care NW is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our innovative team. This full-time remote position will involve working within our Detox Center, where you will play a vital role in providing high-quality behavioral health services to individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders. The successful candidate will earn a competitive annual salary between $100,000 and $105,000.

This role is specifically designed to be remote, allowing flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with our clients. Within our Detox Center setting, you will interact with a specialized interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, and peer support specialists dedicated to patient recovery and community reintegration. Your contributions will be crucial in shaping a supportive virtual environment that fosters healing and resilience.

• Deliver effective clinical assessments and interventions to clients struggling with substance use and mental health challenges, utilizing best practice standards and evidence-based treatment models.
• Maintain a high-quality caseload, providing brief, targeted therapeutic interventions that address immediate concerns, while also facilitating long-term stability and recovery for clients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and external partners, such as schools and community agencies, to ensure continuity of care and facilitate comprehensive treatment pathways for clients.
• Support families by providing education and resources that encourage autonomy, empowerment, and informed decision-making throughout the therapeutic process.
• Monitor client compliance with legal requirements related to treatment, including assisting with LRA management and coordination with court systems as necessary.

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals in the detoxification process, including adults and adolescents with diverse backgrounds, many of whom may also face additional challenges such as homelessness or lack of access to traditional healthcare resources. A core aspect of your work will be building important relationships based on trust, empathy, and respect that acknowledge the unique cultural and socio-economic factors that influence their recovery journeys.

• Must possess a valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) certification in Washington state.
• A bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) or a related field is required, along with at least three years of relevant clinical experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of behavioral health principles, particularly as they relate to primary care settings, is preferred; however, we provide training for candidates without this background.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations, exhibiting cultural competence and sensitivity.
• Experience and understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, and various private insurance mechanisms, as well as knowledge of community resources available for behavioral health support.

• Experience working with clients who are unhoused and an understanding of the systemic challenges faced by these populations.
• Familiarity with the principles of trauma-informed care and harm reduction approaches.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a history of positive collaboration with various stakeholders, including healthcare providers, social services, and community organizations.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000, based on experience and qualifications.
