As a Licensed Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will undertake a range of responsibilities to ensure your clients achieve their therapeutic goals:

• Conduct individualized therapy sessions via video conferencing to facilitate discussions about clients' emotions and experiences, helping them to gain insight and develop healthier coping strategies.
• Evaluate clients' mental health conditions through thorough assessments, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on solution-focused methodologies.
• Serve as a client advocate, supporting them in defining personal goals and creating actionable plans to reach them.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Engage in continual professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and stay updated with the latest mental health practices.

You will work primarily with stable adults who are experiencing low acuity mental health challenges. Our patient population is carefully screened to ensure that counselors are paired with clients that align with their specific specializations and demographic preferences. To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Possess full licensure in good standing, which allows for independent practice without supervision. Acceptable licenses include Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a sympathetic nature towards clients.
• Exhibit computer literacy and comfort with telehealth platforms, ensuring effective use of our all-in-one counselor dashboard for client management.

While prior experience is not mandatory, candidates with previous counseling experience are preferred, especially those familiar with remote therapy practices. Skills in crisis intervention, treatment planning, and evidence-based therapies will be considered beneficial.
