This position is designed to facilitate remote work, allowing the LCSW to provide services to students in a school setting from the comfort of their home. • Provide direct clinical services to students experiencing symptoms of major mental illness or severe emotional disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, including brief developmentally appropriate screenings, to determine the needs of clients and to aid in developing effective treatment plans.
• Implement and monitor integrated care plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and additional health professionals to ensure comprehensive access to necessary services.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions to support client needs and treatment goals effectively.
• Participate actively in crisis intervention efforts, providing immediate support and strategies during critical situations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, ensuring that all reports, notes, and client records comply with confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create supportive environments for students, promoting their overall well-being and academic achievements.
• Provide training and resources to school staff on mental health awareness, creating an informed environment that recognizes and accommodates the needs of students.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance counseling skills and remain informed about the latest therapeutic techniques.
• Participate in committees aimed at improving service delivery quality within the organization.

The primary focus of this role is to guide students through their emotional and mental health challenges. You will be working mainly with children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, and trauma. Understanding the unique dynamics and pressures faced by these young individuals allows you to provide tailored interventions that empower them to thrive academically and socially.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, particularly focusing on children's and adolescents' issues.
• Demonstrated ability to foster trusting relationships with clients and colleagues through integrity, respect, and empathy.
• Proficiency in teletherapy tools and electronic health record systems.
• Strong organizational skills with an acute attention to detail.
