Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient needs, strengths, and challenges, utilizing evidence-based methods to develop effective treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, couple, and group psychotherapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of each patient, employing appropriate therapeutic techniques.
• Engage as a primary or co-therapist in group therapy sessions, fostering a safe and supportive environment for psychiatric patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and case managers, to coordinate care and develop integrated treatment strategies.
• Participate in the ongoing evaluation of treatment effectiveness and adjust plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards relevant to the practice of counseling, actively promoting best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse and dynamic patient population, including individuals facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship issues. You will work closely with clients of all ages, providing culturally competent care and understanding the unique needs of each patient to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling, preferably in a primary care or medical setting.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in counseling practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with a diverse patient population.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies essential for efficient clinical documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse counseling, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• Prior experience working in outpatient psychiatry or integrated health care environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms to facilitate remote patient sessions effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with performance bonuses.
