Responsibilities:
• Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation
• Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence
• Manage document productions and organize case files
• Review and summarize medical records, deposition transcripts, and discovery responses
• Coordinate filings in state and federal courts
• Maintain litigation calendars and monitor deadlines
• Assist with trial preparation, exhibits, and witness materials
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of defense litigation paralegal experience
• Strong understanding of state and federal court procedures
• Experience managing discovery and document-intensive cases
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Paralegal certificate preferred

• At least 2 years of paralegal experience supporting litigation matters.
• Background in civil litigation, with exposure to defense-oriented legal work preferred.
• Working knowledge of discovery procedures, pleading preparation, and common litigation support documents.
• Experience using case management software to track files, deadlines, and matter activity.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordination with attorneys, experts, and outside parties.
• Availability to work remotely while residing within commuting distance of Mission Viejo, California, with the ability to visit the office when needed.
