• Conduct initial assessments and regular follow-up sessions with clients to evaluate their mental health conditions, setting clear therapeutic objectives.
• Develop, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans that cater to diverse mental health needs, employing evidence-based strategies.
• Engage clients through one-on-one and group therapy sessions, providing therapeutic skills and coping strategies to manage their conditions effectively.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records through EHR systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and support groups, to create a comprehensive care network for clients.
• Facilitate educational workshops and community outreach initiatives aimed at destigmatizing mental health issues and improving public understanding.

Your role will involve working closely with a diverse range of clients, including those dealing with substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker-R (LCSW-R) in New York.
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling or related fields.
• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy, with an emphasis on culturally competent approaches.
• Strong crisis intervention skills, demonstrating the ability to remain composed and effective during challenging situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the building of rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Proficient in utilizing EHR systems and other relevant computer applications to manage patient records efficiently.
• Understanding of professional boundaries, ethical standards, and confidentiality protocols in healthcare.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

• Prior experience working with a range of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
• Familiarity with community resources and support services available in the Rochester area.
• Experience in delivering trauma-informed care or specialized therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).
