What is a Remote OTA job?

A Remote OTA (Over-the-Air) job typically involves managing software updates, data transfers, and system optimizations for connected devices without physical access. This role is common in industries like automotive, telecommunications, and IoT, where professionals ensure seamless remote updates for software, firmware, or network configurations. Responsibilities may include testing updates, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring security compliance. Strong technical knowledge in wireless communications, network protocols, and software deployment is often required.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Remote Ota position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote OTA (Occupational Therapy Assistant), you need an associate degree from an accredited OTA program and a valid certification (COTA) along with state licensure. Familiarity with telehealth platforms, electronic documentation systems, and rehabilitation software is essential for remote service delivery. Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills help you engage clients and coordinate with supervising occupational therapists. These abilities ensure effective virtual patient care and adherence to compliance standards in a remote healthcare environment.

What are common challenges faced by Remote OTAs and how can they be addressed?

Remote OTAs often face challenges such as limited hands-on interaction with patients, difficulty in building therapeutic rapport virtually, and managing technological issues during telehealth sessions. To address these, it’s helpful to use a variety of virtual engagement techniques, maintain clear and frequent communication with both patients and supervising OTs, and stay current with telehealth best practices. Proactively troubleshooting technology before sessions and regularly collaborating with your team can also enhance service delivery. Embracing flexibility and adaptability will help you provide effective support and achieve patient goals in a virtual setting.

Job description

Please Note: This is primarily a copywriting and content marketing role with an SEO focus. While a basic understanding of SEO is helpful, this is not a technical SEO, web development, or engineering position.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and currently reside in the U.S. We are not accepting international applicants  submissions at this time.

About Us

Ghosal Luxury Lodging is a fast-growing boutique hospitality company in the Smoky Mountains. Unlike traditional property management companies, we own and operate every property ourselves, allowing us to maintain exceptional quality, guest experiences, and operational standards.
Our portfolio includes luxury cabins, wedding venues, and our expanding Sojourn Resorts tiny home brand. We are a technology-driven company focused on growing direct bookings, reducing OTA dependence, and building long-term brand authority through SEO and content marketing.
We are building a high-performing, entrepreneurial team where every contribution has visible impact.
The Role

We are seeking a Full-Time Copywriter & SEO Content Specialist to help execute our 2026 content marketing strategy. This is a hands-on role centered around writing persuasive, high-converting copy across our websites, landing pages, blogs, and marketing campaigns.
Our sites already rank highly for several luxury cabin and wedding-related keywords. We are looking for someone who can expand those wins, identify quick SEO opportunities, and help scale our content engine.
Key Responsibilities

Copywriting & Content Marketing

  • Write persuasive website copy designed to increase direct bookings
  • Create landing pages for new destinations, properties, weddings, and travel experiences
  • Write engaging blog posts that answer traveler questions and improve organic visibility
  • Develop marketing copy for email campaigns, promotions, and seasonal offers
  • Refresh and improve existing website content for better conversions
  • Coordinate content updates, imagery, and calls-to-action across multiple brands
SEO Content Optimization

  • Optimize pages using keyword research and on-page SEO best practices
  • Improve metadata, headings, internal linking, and schema markup
  • Identify content opportunities with strong booking intent and low competition
  • Monitor search rankings and recommend content improvements

Technical SEO (Supporting Role)

  • Monitor Core Web Vitals and flag technical issues
  • Implement schema markup and SEO best practices
  • Assist with website updates and content publishing
Link Building & Reporting

  • Support backlink outreach and local citation management
  • Track SEO performance using SEMrush, Google Analytics, and PostHog
  • Report on keyword growth, organic traffic, and landing page performance
Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional copywriting, content marketing, blogging, or marketing writing experience
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Ability to write persuasive, conversion-focused copy for different audiences
  • Experience with SEO fundamentals and keyword research
  • Experience with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar SEO tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Portfolio showcasing website copy, landing pages, blogs, email campaigns, or other marketing content
Bonus Qualifications

  • Hospitality, travel, or vacation rental SEO experience
  • WordPress experience
  • Link-building or digital PR experience
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms like GA4 or PostHog
Why Join Us?

  • Flexible hybrid/remote schedule
  • Small, fast-moving team with no corporate bureaucracy
  • Direct impact on traffic, bookings, and company growth
  • Access to advanced SEO and analytics tools
  • Growth opportunities as the company expands
We are looking for someone who takes ownership, thinks strategically, and wants to help build one of the fastest-growing hospitality brands in the Smoky Mountains.

This is a remote position.
