Join our PPCF Technology team as a Senior Architect, Planning & Merchandising and serve as the primary technical lead for our enterprise Planning & Merchandising platform. Contributes to the development and implementation of architectural vision, strategy, standards, policies, and best practices within a domain, business area, or platform, providing guidance and expertise to ensure alignment with organizational goals
Provides technical leadership and design guidance to development teams, assisting them in making architectural design decisions, and ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices
Helps create proof-of-concepts for new systems / designs and works with teams integrating novel solutions into their domains
Collaborates with other architects and teams to ensure alignment of architectural solutions within a domain, business area, or platform, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting knowledge sharing
Designs and documents architectural solutions that meet business and technical requirements, including creating detailed diagrams, specifications, and other artifacts
Participates in architectural design discussions and decisions, representing their program's or team's architectural needs, and advocating for solutions that align with the overall architectural vision
Drive the adoption of best practices in architecture, agile software engineering, and knowledge management, across the organization
Identify and mitigate architectural risks and technical debt, ensuring the long-term health and sustainability of our systems
Ensure that architectural designs meet non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability
