Job description

Support pharmacists in a busy ambulatory infusion setting providing specialized care to patients with cancer, autoimmune diseases, infections, and more. This contract role requires expertise in pharmacy technician duties, including clinical data gathering, medication order processing, and patient interaction. Supervised by a pharmacist, you will contribute to clinical support functions with a strong emphasis on IV admixture and sterile technique.
Location: Albany, OR
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • No weekend shifts
    Duration: 13 weeks
    Start: ASAP
    EMR System: EPIC
    Type: Contract
Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists in clinical data collection and problem solving
  • Process medication orders accurately and efficiently
  • Provide patient support and interaction
  • Participate in sterile compounding and IV admixture preparation
  • Operate pharmacy technology including computers and calculators
  • Comply with all regulatory and safety standards related to pharmacy practices
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Current, unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License
