The EHR Systems Analyst serves as a primary support contact, bridging end users and the EHR Team while ensuring system solutions align with clinical and business needs. Responsibilities Standards & Testing Obtain Epic certification within 180 days of hire and maintain required certifications Adhere to standard operating procedures and maintain build and testing standards with SME or governance signoff Follow IS division best practices and institutional policies, procedures, and standards Prepare documentation for implementation of enhancements or new technology Follow documented change control processes Perform quality control and testing to ensure solutions are technically sound Build, Content Management, & System Configuration Implement and prioritize requested system changes or projects in a timely manner Maintain and troubleshoot EHR system build Modify Epic content based on project team direction Participate in implementation and optimization efforts with appropriate approvals Analyze system configurations with a focus on patient safety Perform medium-risk or moderately complex system maintenance Complete routine revisions to meet build metrics Provide functional expertise with clinical workflow understanding Provide technical expertise in system design and development Support Provide customer support and resolve technical and workflow issues Respond to requests promptly while communicating expectations and timelines Participate in after-hours application support and downtime procedures Develop knowledge of assigned applications to improve troubleshooting Facilitate issue resolution with Epic technical support Liaison, Networking Skills, & Business Knowledge Collect information on system enhancements and workflow improvements Establish and maintain relationships with customers and OneIS to deliver effective solutions Collaborate with senior analysts to expand technical and business knowledge Attend meetings, participate in workgroups, and serve on committees as needed OneIS Deliver innovative, quality, and sustainable IT solutions and services Promote trust, respect, support, and honesty with customers and team members Build productive, collaborative, and trusted partnerships Demonstrate commitment to excellence and continuous improvement Achieve outcomes that exceed expectations in usability and value EDUCATION Required: Bachelor's Degree WORK EXPERIENCE Required: 2 years Clinical, relevant healthcare information technology, or relevant business experience. Preferred: At least 3 years experience in professional billing, professional coding, professional billing claims, project management, strong analytical skills, good facilitation, inter-team and customer communication and organization skills.
