Position Description:
JTEC Consulting is hiring a senior level Business Process Architect with defense financial management experience who will fill a pivotal role in analyzing and designing the processes and systems that drive organizational success for a complex environment. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact by shaping the future of business operations and technology integration for Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Supply Chain and Air Force Operations. Qualified candidates will have experience working with Financial Management Organization (FMO) legacy systems and interfaces such as D035J/FIABS or SMAS. This is a very hands-on position working closely with Oracle EBS design for processes and systems. Oracle EBS technical expertise is required. Prior experience with DoD or federal ERP modernization is highly preferred.
Duties and responsibilities include:
  • Primary responsibility will be to assess the current state of the business, identify customer requirements, identify gaps, and define a future state that aligns with customer's strategic goals
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of business models with technology and leverage expertise to bridge the gap between legacy interfaces and forward-looking systems
  • Synthesize complex information, research industry best practices, and develop innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise and authoritative guidance on Oracle usage, Air Force operational workflows, and enterprise transformation initiatives
  • Design, innovate, and document end to end business processes to define workflows, characteristics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) meeting mission and operational goals
  • Provide strategic guidance for Oracle EBS domain guidance and inputs for Maintenance, Supply, AFWCF, and related areas
  • Participate in RICEFW development, integration, data requirements, and testing activities
  • Lead development phase activities and present system demonstrations during blueprinting sessions and Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) to illustrate functional capabilities and validate requirements
  • Partner closely with business process owners to develop detailed process blueprints, establish business requirements, and drive process efficiency and standardization
  • Participate with configuration and development activities and collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams to ensure the solution meets intended design, business needs, and customer standards
  • Provide training and support to ensure customer's understanding of business process designs and Oracle EBS functionality
  • Conduct quality management and design assurance reviews to ensure functional, business, and technical requirements are fully met prior to deployment
  • Maintain ownership responsibility for functional process areas and Oracle EBS module(s) overseeing requirements, process design, configuration guidance, and cross-functional alignment
  • Perform code/unit test/test script documentation reviews for Agile development teams
  • Other duties, as assigned
Requirements include:
  • US citizenship; no dual citizenship
  • Current DoD security clearance at Secret level or Public Trust at IT2 level eligible for Secret
  • Bachelor's degree; equivalent years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 10+ years of related Oracle EBS experience assessing business models in a DoD setting, supporting integration with technology, and driving meaningful business changes
  • Hands-on expertise implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle EBS Supply Chain, Logistics, Financial, Procurement, and related modules
  • Expertise with Air Force business processes, systems, and operational workflows
  • Experience working with legacy interfaces for FMO systems and tools such as D035J/FIABS, SMAS
  • Strong understanding of legacy interfaces and their modernization to navigate the complexities of transitioning to future-state solutions
  • Demonstrated success assessing current state, identifying customer requirements, and defining the future state and/or business solution
  • Recognized expertise with transformation designing functional process architecture for large-scale Oracle EBS and/or ERP
  • Ability to lead discussions, communicate effectively, and collaborate across teams to drive alignment for successful implementation
  • Leadership experience with requirements definition, blueprinting, Conference Room Pilot sessions, and functional design review
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and lead stakeholder training
  • Experience leveraging analytical frameworks to evaluate business models and processes, and making data-driven recommendations that support organizational objectives
  • Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Experience with gathering and synthesizing information
  • Strategic mindset and ability to identify opportunities for improvement and deliver impactful results
  • Ability to assess customer needs and translate them into actionable business solutions
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to successfully interact with a blended government and contractor team

Preferred Experience:
  • Prior experience supporting a DoD ERP modernization program is preferred
