The Role
Our client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support critical mission-related systems through the development and enhancement of complex software. This role focuses on implementing production scale AI/ML solutions, developing deep learning models, and managing cloud infrastructure. You will work individually or as part of a team to analyze user requirements, troubleshoot software defects, and provide technical expertise on software reuse and COTS/GOTS integration for large-scale data sets. Base compensation ranges from $170k to $260k, with a compelling benefits package for qualified candidates.
What You'll Bring
Experience & Education: Bachelor's degree plus 14 years of SWE experience, or 18 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python development and knowledge of AI tools (Generative/Agentic AI concepts).
Infrastructure/Cloud: Experience with cloud infrastructure management and Docker containerization (Kubernetes).
Certifications: Knowledge of AWS ML or Solution Architect concepts is highly desired.
