YOU WILL
The Payment Poster Supervisor supports the daily operations of the payment posting team, ensuring insurance and patient payments, adjustments, denials, refunds, and related cash activity are posted accurately and timely. This role provides hands-on supervision, assigns and monitors work, supports reconciliation activities, researches posting discrepancies, and escalates trends or barriers to the Payment Poster Operations Manager.
  • Be responsible for the timely data entry of insurance and patient payments for all business lines within 48 hours of date of deposit
  • Ensure efficient and timely payment reconciliation
  • Ensure proper payment and refund posting based on EOB and bank deposit reconciliation
  • Identifies problems in the payment posting process to prevent future errors
  • Alert the manager/director of any difficulties incurred during the payment posting and reconciliation process
