As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Advance Mental Health Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals facing trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. You will foster an empathetic and supportive therapeutic environment where clients can feel safe to explore their feelings and challenges. Your role will be pivotal in guiding these individuals towards achieving lasting wellness and resilience.

• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in California.
• Proven expertise in implementing solution-focused therapeutic methods that address various mental health conditions and adapt to individual client needs.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for the establishment of strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Adept problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to navigate complex clinical situations and promote positive outcomes.
• A collaborative approach to working with peers and an openness to sharing insights and learning from others in the team.

• Prior experience in a community health setting or outpatient clinic is advantageous.
• Experience providing teletherapy services is preferred, as our organization operates predominantly in a remote structure.
