Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations will support the Global Marketing, Corporate Communications and Solution Marketing teams by driving operational excellence and enterprise alignment across all internal and external deliverables. This net new role translates marketing vision into actionable plans, scalable operating models, and disciplined execution, ensuring marketing investments accelerate brand strength, customer impact, and revenue growth. This Senior Manager will enable teams to generate the highest-value work to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes by optimizing workflows, managing performance tracking, and supporting cross-functional collaboration. This individual will help implement strategic plans, improve processes, facilitate project traffic improvements, and contribute to overall team development in a fast-paced corporate marketing environment.

  • Build and support the development and implementation of AFL’s marketing operations strategy, design & process development
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing performance and operational efficiency
  • Recruit, manage and develop key marketing project management resources
  • Optimize key marketing workflows and systems to support scalability
  • Design and lead the marketing shared services operating model including intake, prioritization, governance, and delivery
  • Monitor industry best practices (AI-enablement, productivity) for marketing operations
  • Support development of dashboards/reports to track return on marketing investment (ROMI)

  • Project management certifications a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
