The Role

Local Infusion is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payer Operations Manager to own the implementation and onboarding of health plan partners across the organization - managing credentialing and payer enrollment, contract onboarding, and fee schedule accuracy, and driving timely, well-managed implementations. If you have a strong background in payer operations, project management, and a comprehensive understanding of insurance operations, this role offers the opportunity to build and scale payer operations for a rapidly growing organization.

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead the payer onboarding and implementation process, working cross functionally with internal teams and systems to ensure timely, accurate setup

  • Establish and improve workflows, designing measurable, scalable processes that support efficient operations as Local Infusion grows

  • Diagnose operational inefficiencies by synthesizing data across the business, surfacing root causes, and recommending targeted improvements

  • Manage payer enrollment process for new locations, including, fee schedule uploads, EDI/EFT and clearinghouse enrollment, as well as the provider credentialing process

  • Apply project management skills to ensure all partners follow best practices, deliver on time, and make full use of available tools and systems

  • Develop and share performance insights with internal teams, collaborating cross-functionally on opportunities and challenges

  • Identify and execute process improvements that make onboarding and implementation more effective, in close collaboration with Revenue Cycle, Enterprise Growth, and Operations teams

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 4+ years experience in payer operations, credentialing, provider enrollment, or revenue cycle operations, ideally at a high-growth health-tech start-up

  • Proven project management skills, with experience leading implementations or onboarding processes

  • Strong organizational & communication skills, with attention to detail

  • Nice to have: familiarity with fee schedule management, EDI/EFT set-up, credentialing, and/or payor enrollment
